Love the World
At Manna Church, our third and final core value is we love the world.
We love God. We love each other. And because of that, we can’t help but love the world around us.
This value comes straight from Jesus’s words in Matthew 28. Just before He ascended into heaven, Jesus gave the disciples His final command, what we call the Great Commission:
Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I’ve commanded you, and behold, I’m with you always, to the end of the age.
We Exist for the One
Jesus didn’t just tell us to keep the message to ourselves. He told us to go—to share the message with the world, to go into the world, to go make disciples, to go share the good news.
And here’s what that means for us: We don't just exist for us. We exist for the one—for the person who hasn't heard, or who hasn't yet believed, or is still wondering if God sees them.
We love the world by living on mission right where God has placed us. That means:
- We share the gospel boldly.
- We serve sacrificially.
- We meet the needs in our city.
- We look for opportunities every day to represent Jesus with our words, our actions, and our lives.
You Are Called to Make Disciples
At Manna Church, we want every person to understand that you have a calling. Yes, you. You have influence. You have a world to reach.
Whether it’s your workplace, your neighborhood, your gym, your campus, or even across the globe, you are called to make disciples.
That’s why we’re going to:
- Serve our community regularly.
- Equip you to share the gospel.
- Support national church planting and international missions.
- Challenge you to live on mission every single day.
People Searching for Hope
Loving the world isn't about programs. It's about people. People who are far from God. People in pain. People searching for hope.
And we know the answer. We have that hope. His name is Jesus.
So, we won't stay quiet. We can't stay quiet. We won't play it safe. We will love the world by living out the Great Commission—by pointing people to the one who can save them.
At Manna Church, we love the world because Jesus loves the world. And if we love Him, we will love what He loves, which is people. We will be missionaries to the city of Clarksville, a church full of people who: Love God, love each other, and love the world.
